I’ve tried clean and clear advantage, zapzyt, Acne free severe acne face wash, and tea tree oil. I heard proactive stops working a while so I dont want to try that. My skin is coverd in acne and I want to get rid of it. I also have white heads and blackheads. What’s a good product to get rid of all that stuff?

for acne i use either of these proactive or benzoyl peroxide2.5 its very effective for acne and pimples…

drink 8-10 glasses of water

apply ice to your face regularly it closes the pores so that would definitely reduce the acne breakout

witch hazel toner

clean and clear gentle facial cleanser

benzaclin

and cetaphil daily facial moisturizer w/ spf 15

the key here is benzaclin. if you use it right, it will do miracles.

PanOxyl 10% works!!! It will dry your skin the first couple of days b/c it uses benzoyl and b/c it is helping get rid of dead skin cells but it helps to clear off the skin. You can purchase this @ Walgreens and it will cost you about $8. It comes in a foam wash and soap bar but the soap bar works a lot better. Good LUck…oh and use a really good moisturizer afterwards to prevent peeling the first few days.

neutregenas oil free acne wash works wonders for me cause i have oily skin

i use that and a facial astringent to get rid of the dirt (usually a lot)

my face is nearly totally clear

your bets bet is getting a good facial astringent to get off the dirt and oil that cause acne and getting a good acne wash

that my routine

if your acne is really bad you might want to get producy with benozyl peroxide in it, if its neutral salllyic acid will work fine

but benozyl is stronger but dries out skin more

i use products with sallyic acid

clearisil ultra is pretty good too..

Although I don't have acne….I still get the odd pimple here and there.

Nothing, but nothing works better than 3 drops of Emu Oil(buy the white stuff not the yellow)mixed in with 3 drops of tea tree oil. 3 drops of each should be enough for your entire face.

The emu oil helps draw the TTO down to the deeper layers of the skin. It also has anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial properties.

Best of all, it is not drying………….it leaves the skin oh, so soft.

stridex has this new 2-in-1 acne treatment thing you might want to check out. it has acne-reducing gel on the top, and the cleansing pads on the bottom. it comes in 2 varieties: pore control (blue jar), and acne defense (purple jar). ive never used it, but i use their old version for sensitive skin (green jar) and it works wonders.
