I dont really comprehend how people use toothpaste to get rid of acne. I want to try it but idon't really know how. Do you just leave it on or rub it in?????

Answer:
you rub some in and leave it for a couple hours or all night and then wash it off. its actually the alcohol and baking soda that dry the pimple up.

Answer:
I highly do not recommend using toothpaste! It doesn't let air get at your pores, which is one of the leading causes of acne in the first place. Plus, it will dry out your skin, causing you to moistureize more - which if you don't use the right moisturizer wll leave your skin greasy, also causing more acne. If you have acne, looking for the easiest and fastest way out isn't always the right way to go. Try finding a good cleanser that may take a few days to a few weeks to begin to show improvements, but will really work. If the acne is bad, i know for a fact that proactive really helps out. My sister's acne was horrible, and her face was fully cleared in about 3-4 months. For me, it used to be that I broke out each once in a while, so I just use regular ivory soap and water, and drink lots of water.. and it works just great. It was a tip i picked up from my dr! I hope I helped you out!

Answer:
It works great but USE ONLY PASTE NOT GEL and DO NOT USE MINT. A gel toothpaste will burn your skin, it must be paste. I have used regular flavor Crest paste and it didn’t burn my skin. Put a thin layer on the pimple after washing and fully drying. Let it stay on overnight if possible, try not to rub it on a pillow etc before absolutely dry. Then wash off gently in the morning. It should be improved.

Answer:
You take the old fashioned kind of toothpaste (not the gel kind) and just dab it on and leave it overnight
