I've heard from several places of a drug you take in pill form that supposedly helps your skin become clear of acne.

I've tried pretty much everything for years, from proactive to everything in the local drug store to some asian market remedies…I'm going to go to a doctor and speak to them about this but I just need the name of this medication.

Answer:
Pantothenic Acid, or Vitamin B5 has been used medically. It only works if your acne has to do with the hormonal storm of puberty.

Otherwise, Accutane, which is Cis-13-retinoic Acid. You can also get Accutane from egg yolks. That's how I cured my acne problem. I've eaten 8 eggs per day for the last 10 years. And no, my cholesterol isn’t high, in fact it is low. Eggs don’t raise cholesterol, thought they have cholesterol in them. Do your own research.

Answer:
The tetracyclines have been used for acne but they’ve side effects like any medication. You don't need to know a specific medication to speak to your physician about treating acne. Go visit him/her and they have the ability to guide you to something that may work for your individual situation.

Answer:
Acutane. It's costly, however, so make sure you use all of it! Go to your dermatologist for a prescription. And Proactive works very well if you use it regularly. Well, it did for me, anyway.

Answer:
There are many. The best suggested by docs is Neotrogena. You can also get prescription drugs from your clinic. Neotrogena has a daily face washing kit, special creams and lotions, and more. I have used it and have been satisfied .

Answer:
Also tetracycline or doxycycline.

There are several others. You might also try Avon's Anew in the brown jar. It says it's for older women and their wrinkles but it clears up acne too. Just get a sample from an Avon rep.
