I'm afro-american and I have acne which causes whiteheads. When these whiteheads burst they cause scarring (hyperpigmentation). How long does it take for them to fade away and what can be used to help quicken the rate without Hydroquinone.

dear , dermatological problems generally taking along time to heal,specially the acne scarring ,so at least it might take a weeks to fade away , you can use a sulfur containing soap to help your skin to fade ,but you have to be carefull sometimes sulfer can cause skin allergy then you have to cease it,but i dont advice you to begin useing hydroquinone now and give your skin a opportunity to heal it self.
