I looked on the web on a physicians page and it said mixing water and baking soda together to make a paste is a good way to clear bad acne. Now my face is all red and ichy and dry. Im allergic to many things. Could i be allergic to this??Was the baking soda and water a bad idea?

Answer:
if you experience adverse effects from the mixture, it is ideal to cease using it immediately. i would suggest application of fresh lemon juice, instead of the baking soda. what we need is vitamin C so lemon juice is definitely okay.

i also found out through http://cureacnezone.com/acne-skin-care-p… that we need vitamins A, B and E, aside from vitamin C, to reduce acne.

Hi. Solutions offered on the internet may not suit all skin types. You’ll have to know your skin type first before even trying out anything knew. You knew that you’ve an allergic skin type, so why did you do such a trial? Go and consult a dermatologist. Skin is a very sensitive area especially our face since its constantly exposed. From, cleansing to toning to moisturizing, everything should be done with care. We cannot juz rub any XYZ on our face juz coz we think its gonna do good. I think your face is red and itchy as the effects are harsh. Pls see a doc immediately.

Maybe you might be a tiny sensitive to baking soda. My skin is somewhat sensitive to things. I use sugar to exfoliate and then I use a type of acne scrub such as Neutrogena Power Scrub.

I switch around cleansers since my skin tends to build up a tolerance to some washes.

Hope i helped =]

Answer:
i use egg whites! i know it sounds nasty, but it makes your face smooth and it feels great after its all done! just separate the yolk and white and just lather the egg white all over your face. let ALL of the white dry. it will get hard and make your face feel stuck. then just wash it off with water.

Answer:
ehhh. there ARE superior natural remedies…

The tricky part about acne is that the problem can actually become worse if you overmedicate. That's because acne medication can overdry the skin, causing a boost in your skin's Sebum (oil) production. This results in…you guessed it - more acne.

So what's the long term solution? Find gentler solutions or even natural acne cures that won't shock your body into more breakouts. Here's what I recommend:

- Use a glycerin based facewash. Glycerin is gentler and will balance the ph levels in your skin.

- For body acne, try using an antibacterial soap to slowly dry out the skin. If your skin gets too dry, switch to a moisterizing soap like Dove to counterbalance the effect.

- Wash your face only 2 times a day max and gently pat dry with a towel.

- Use a gentle face moisterizer if the glycerin based face wash drys you out too much.

- Eat almonds, fiber, drink lots of water and avoid excess sugar intake.

- If acne medication isn't working or causing new breakouts, try applying egg whites to the pimples at night before bed. This natural remedy works great.

- One of my favorite natural skin conditioners is wearing an “oatmeal mask”. The oatmeal with smooth your skin while simultaneously absorb toxins and oils from your pores.

- Tea Oil works great on acne as well. Tea Tree Oil is an antifungal that will kill bacteria in the skin gently. You can pick it up at most drug stores and health food stores.

- Rubbing a slice of lemon on acne will dry out the pimple and balance the pH levels in the skin. Some people don't enjoy smelling like a lemon but the solution does work.

- Put a dab of rubbing alcohol on pimples after you pop them. The alcohol will kill bacteria, shrink the pimple and dry out oily pores.
