Is there anything simple I can do at home to treat it?

Answer:
I find that chest acne, as well as back acne, is very hard to get rid of. My problem is that I have oily skin that is prone to breakouts. For my chest and back, I find that PanOxyl foaming acne wash (benzoyl peroxide) works very well, even though it tends to work better on my back.

After I shower, I use Neutrogena “On the Spot” acne treatment (benzoyl peroxide) on my chest. I then follow up with a “Skin Bump Minimizer” made my Avon. This routine seems to work very well on my hard-to-get-rid-of chest acne. To lessen the amount of oil on my chest, I apply a bit of baby powder in the morning and before I exercise, have gym class…etc.

It is also a good idea to rotate between using salicylic acid acne treatments and benzoyl peroxide treatments. For example, I use a Clearasil product on my face acne in the morning (benzoyl peroxide), and Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Wash and Neutrogena Rapid Clear Gel at night (salicylic acid).

Hope this helps!

Try sudocreme.

I've never had many zits, but i get the occasional nasty large ones on my back every now and then and sudocreme clears them overnight for me.
