I currently use Revlon Colorstay and dust some loose powder over it. However, my skin gets oily often throughout the day. I use oil blotting papers to get rid of the oil, and it helps for a while but the oil always come back. I've also tried freshening up on the powder, but it makes my face get cakey because I have to do it so often. I'd rather use a powder foundation that won't clog my pores, but I have yet to find with with good coverage, which I desperately need.

Thanks :-)

Answer:
for acne and oily skin a good foundation is actually not to wear foundation at all.

I know what you are thinking, she's nuts!

but no, foundation just clogs up your pores even more witch causes more acne, it is a terrible circle.

Go to a dermatologist to get a special acne cream, most of them you can wear under powder make up no problem.

get a loose powder for oily skin. during the day you can take the excessive oil off with a tissue (the greasy powder will come off simultaneously) and then just reapply some loose powder. It won't look cakey at all. Just don't put powder over powder over powder.

for the red spots on your face, get a light concealer and just cover the problem spots, blend it out a little and apply loose powder.

It is kind of pricey but Bare Minerals is the ideal. It's about $60 for the starter kit at Sephora and comes with 2 brushes, 2 colors, a bronzer, and mineral veil. The mineral veil will keep the oil at bay and I have acne prone oily skin and it doesn't clog pores. I've been using it for 3 years now and I'm sold!

Oh and my mom uses it too and she has rosacea and you can't even tell when she wears it.

Answer:
Get some samples of the following…you’ll love it and thank me later!

Oil control mineral powder

Hollywood mineral foundation

Mineral Veil

I use all 3 of the above everyday and my skin looks so good! It never looks cakey or feels chalkey either.

Just go to http://www.laminerals.com and order some samples in your shade. They are like $1 each and they ship them free.

Oh…after you apply it, make sure you press a damp wash cloth over your face. It helps set the makeup and makes it look so natural!

You'll LOVE IT!!!
