I ask this because for a while I had my acne absolutely gone, except for maybe one pimple each now and then. BUT, I've started working out 5 days a week for preparation of summer and I’ve about 5 pimples on my face and even more on my back. I use all my usual tactics to try and get it under control, but it's not really helping. This outbreak started almost exactly then same time I starting working out again. Could this be related or is it purely coincidence?

Thanks.

Answer:
Sweating helps clean the skin but can also cause buildup in blocked pores. Exfoliate in the morning. This will help clear your pores to prevent this. Use baking soda for this, mix a small amount with some water so that it's like a paste, then massage gently, rinse. Then use apple cider vinegar or even lemon juice as a toner to balance the Ph - this part is important. Do this daily, just be gentle.

make sure you wash your face soon after working out and always use a clean towel.. look into oil cleansing (cleansing/moisturizing with oil) as well.

this could also be in part due to hormone changes brought on by the exercise

Answer:
yes if your sweating it does cause breakouts. what to do to stop them and make them go away is immediately after you workout either shower and be sure to wash the areas that are breaking out with either soap or acne scrub(works faster), or just wash the area that is breaking out if you dont have time to shower.

hope that helps

Answer:
Some causes could be your towel is dirty or too many protein in your diet made u breakout.
