Any remedies for hormonal acne that comes with my period?
Jun 27, 2008
I want clear skin but Pro-active, Zen med , nothing seems to work. My acne is hormonal, comes and goes with my period. Any recommendations or recommedations. Nothing generic drugstore please. No birth control for me please.
Answer: Dont eat a lot of processed food (they mess with your hormone levels) keep your stress at a minimum. Also their is a pressure point for irritated skin: take your right hand and with you index and pointer slightly squeeze in-between the area of your left hands pointer and thumb. Avoid touching your face often drink plenty of water (soda doesn't count) continue using your normal face wash in the morning and before you go to bed. Change your pillow cases often. More than likely this will not rid you of all but it's a good preventative. Exercising can reduce stress related breakouts during your period as well.
