For moderate to severe Acne,please don't state Proactiv because i tried that already.

There are lots of home remedies that help eliminate Acne effectively and for good as:

•Wash the face twice daily with a tea of calendula officinalis,

•Mix 1 teaspoon lemon juice with 1 teaspoon cinnamon powder. Apply this paste on the pimples and wash it after 20 minutes with warm water. Repeat for two weeks,

•Use aloe vera juice on the pimples morning and night for as long as necessary (perhaps five months or longer).

•Make orange peel paste by grinding it in some water. Apply on and around pimples.

•Rub garlic on and around pimples.

A good dermatologist. I use Tazorac, and Spirolactane. They’ve really helped me out and it does last. If you’ve severe Acne I would definitely look for a dermatologist. Nothing over the counter helped my Acne until I found a good dermatologists. If I were to tell you 1 product though, for me it would be oil blotters. I have oily skin and so they help reduce break outs for me. I also suggest Cetaphil because that brand is not too harsh and you don’t want to irritate your skin more.

Seriously,Proactiv sucks. I never had severe Acne but i do try to wash my face twice a day to prevent it.It really depends on your skin.My cousin used Proactiv and said it worked wonders.All Neutrogena products work really good.My friend's mother is a dermatologist and i should ask her. What dermatologists really recommend for your face is sunscreen,another Neutrogena product that's good.

Proactive didnt work for me either. I USE Neutrogena Acne STRESS CONTROL. its my savior!!! it reduces redness, helps stress, smells great, AND WORKS. also i use clean and clear invisible Acne patch for during the day cause it is clear and WORKS. good lucj!!
